I once coined a phrase, “When in doubt zoom out”. I’ve had to keep this in mind a lot lately. I forget how easy it is to lose perspective in the midst of a busy life. We all have busy lives but one of the most important skills is to gain perspective and see the largest picture possible while still functioning in the immediate present. Anything is solvable, there is always a way to the next dream or desire in this state.

i agree. makes me want to know them.

It’s great when you see an innovative video for a band you haven’t heard of and you like the music.

There is not 1 criminal on my street! At age 67, my next-door neighbor and super has 35 legitimate grandchildren and can usually be found out on his stoop. the majority of the time, there are 3 older men playing dominoes and tons of kids running around. During the day, it is normal to hear heated arguments between mother and kin, “The Carter 3” setting off car alarms, and the general white noise of shouts over gushing fire hydrants in Spanish of every dialect but Spain’s.
